At Central, we believe it's crucial that each disciple of Christ find an area to serve the community. Below is an overview of some of Central's community service opportunities as well as the missionaries we support:

A Friend's Closet Clothing Pantry

Our clothing pantry is open each Wednesday from 10 AM to 2 PM. Each year, hundreds of families in our community receive clothing.

River's Way Lunches (Cafe Central)

Throughout the school year, Central hosts River’s Way Lunches (Cafe Central). In a collaborative effort with both Tennessee High School and Virginia High School, River’s Way provides local students the opportunity to learn real life skills by serving and preparing meals for our community on Thursdays and Fridays. Most of the dishes served come from the greenhouse that sits on our Central Christian Church campus! You can sign up for lunch HERE.

Bristol Faith in Action

Each year, Central partners with Bristol Faith in Action to serve our neighbors in crisis through the love of Jesus. With the help of local churches, BFiA provides financial assistance and counseling to those in need in our community.

Meals on Wheels

CCC is one of 22 churches that delivers a meal to approximately 50 people Monday through Saturday each week. Our church prepares and delivers meal on the 3rd Friday of each month. Four people usually prepare the food and nine to ten people deliver the meals. At CCC this program is financed by individual donations and one Sunday School class. We have been involved in this mission for over 40 years.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
